our Story
Established in 2008, Furever Friends Animal Rescue of Brunswick County, NC (FFAR) is an active 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation in good standing with the State of North Carolina. The main purpose of FFAR is to provide medical and surgical care to homeless, injured or abandoned animals and prepare them for adoption. There are a few ways in which our rescues come to us. Usually via county animal services organizations, owner relinquish or discovered abandoned; all of which are a sad and stressful time for these animals.
FFAR financially provides all medical, surgical and rehabilitative care including spay/neuter, microchip, current vaccinations then prepare them for their second chance, ultimately finding them their well deserved forever homes. We hope you take the time to review this website, check us out on Facebook and help spread the word about what we do and who we help. Please remember to think of us when you or someone you know is looking for a loving, furry family member.
FFAR is run by volunteers and relies 100% on donations, grants and adoption fees to carry out our mission. So please keep us in mind by donating in lieu of traditional gift giving when your are honoring, celebrating or gifting!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
Sincerely,
